Glencalvie Lodge

Glencalvie Lodge was built by C.W.Dyson Perrins as one of his sporting lodges in Sutherland.


Diebidale Lodge is situated in a commanding position towards Glen Diebidale on the Glencalvie Estate.

The Kennels Fishing Bothy

Glencalvie offers the comfort of the bothy at Gruinards throughout the day, and can be enjoyed.

A Highland Escape

Glencalvie Lodge was built in 1910 by C.W.Dyson Perrins (of Lea and Perrins fame) as one of his sporting lodges in Sutherland. Log fires throughout the fine drawing rooms and dining rooms provide all the comfort for relaxation and entertainment.

The drawing rooms and bedrooms

The lodge sleeps up to 14 guests in a traditional highland style, including 5 double bedrooms with bathrooms, three twin, two with private bathrooms and two staff bedrooms.

Guests will be looked after by the house-keeping team. They are most welcome to bring their own cook, and accommodation is provided.

The Gardens

The 5 acres of lawns and gardens are beautifully laid out and maintained with a small loch in front of the lodge. It is stocked from time to time with brown trout. A hard tennis court is available to guests.
